STAGE BY STAGE is a registered centre for acting and musical theatre exams.
We offer small group sessions as preparations for the LAMDA syllabus, with exams taking place at our own Exeter centre.
We have two age group sessions as follows:
Age 9 to 12 years
FRIDAY 5.00pm to 6.00pm
Age 13+ years
FRIDAY 6.00pm to 7.00pm
LAMDA exams are practical performances which are measured to a national standard. Higher grades are accredited for UCAS points so can contribute to entry to universities and conservatoires!
Most exams invove preparing 2 contrasting pieces to be performed in front of a visiting examiner. This is followed by some spoken questions about technique and repertoire.
